william anthony monague (1956-2019)
self taught Beausoleil First Nation artist grew up on an isolated island with no access to formal training in the arts. he discovered inspiration in the traditional teachings of Mother Earth, the sprit world,  and in the beauty of nature on the Georgian Bay shores that surrounded him. william received many awards and recognition throughout his career. his works can be found in galleries and museums worldwide.
